Export or Delete Your Data
Simple Habit Tracker gives every signed-in user direct access to export and deletion controls inside the app.
Before deleting: export a copy first if you want to keep your habit history. Deleted accounts and habit data cannot be restored.
Create a JSON Export
- Open Simple Habit Tracker and sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Under Privacy & Data, select Export My Data.
- Use the iOS share sheet to save the JSON file to Files or another destination you control.
An internet connection is required to retrieve the complete cloud record. The export also contains a local snapshot so recent offline information is represented.
What the Export Contains
- Your account identifier and email address, including an Apple private relay address when applicable.
- Habit names, descriptions, schedules, and timestamps.
- Habit completion history.
- Timezone and streak preferences.
- Tracker sharing records associated with your account.
- A current local app snapshot in addition to synced cloud records.
Permanently Delete Your Account
- Open Settings, then Privacy & Data.
- Select Delete Account and Data.
- Confirm the permanent deletion warning.
The app deletes your habits, completions, settings, and sharing records before deleting the Clerk identity. Deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage subscriptions separately at Apple Subscriptions.
